This is the first book of a series by English author Angus Donald. It is told in the pov of Alan Dale who is the newest member of Robin's merry men. Which gives the reader a newcomer's eye to a culture of fellowship, thievery, conflict and battle against corrupt kingdom. I couldn't put this thriller adventure down. I totally recommend this book for all period era lovers, action lovers and adventure lovers.
